Waste Management Breaking Law
We have a branch of Waste Management located in Cape County violating the
"N.J.C.A. 7:26-3.4 "NO SOLID WASTE HAUL LING ROUTES.", they
travel on our residential roads, in our Pinelands/Wetland Community all sorts
of hours, day and night, spilling trash on our streets as they travel through
our community, a community filled with families and children, and
all of our complaints have been falling on deaf ear, all the way from Waste
Management to the State officials.

Re.: Illegal Truck Traffic on Rt. 631, Rt. 610 and Rt. 50
Good morning everyone, I would like to bring you up to date regarding the
issue above.
Scene #1. 2:50AM 7/21/06 Earthtech Waste hauling truck traveling on Rt. 610
Southbound toward the dump.
Scene # 2. 2:55AM 7/21/06 another Earthtech Waste hauling truck traveling on
Rt. 610 Southbound toward the dump.
Now as we all know, Earthtech has been reported as one of the biggest violator
of the “NO SOLID WASTE HAULING ROUTES”, for spilling hydraulic fuels in
front of my home and taking five weeks to clean it up, for dropping trash
while his trucks are hauling at about 60 to 70MPH on all of the “NO SOLID
WASTE HAULING ROUTES.” Now he has been documented traveling on the “NO
SOLID WASTE HAULING ROUTES.” toward the dump as early as 2:50AM.What other
courtesy can we extend to Earthtech?
Scene # 3 3:25AM Waste Management traveling Northbound on Rt. 610 from the
direction of the dump.
Scene #4. 3:26AM Waste Management traveling Northbound on Rt. 610 from the
direction of the dump.
Scene #5. 3:55AM Waste Management traveling Northbound on Rt. 610 from the
direction of the dump crossing paths with a State Trooper and proceeding
toward Rt. 50.
As we all also know, Waste Management is another one of the biggest violator
of the “NO SOLID WASTE HAULLING ROUTES.” and dropping trash on the “NO
SOLID WASTE HAULING ROUTES.” They have been documented traveling on the
“NO SOLID WASTE HAULING ROUTES.” as early as 3:25AM. What other courtesy
can we extend to Waste Management?
For that matter, what other courtesy can we extend to all the businesses?

Now, given the fact that we have two of our own finest, family members who are
State troopers, and who’s passion, determination and belief in their
convictions that what they signed up for is worth endangering their lives, I
am going to choose not to believe that the State Troopers, at our Woodbine
Barracks are intentionally not enforcing the laws, but rather the theory and
rumor that the latest events involving our Attorney General, Zulima V. Farber,
are indicative of what is going on in our community.
Let me end this letter by saying, I am not going to stop in bringing our
problems to everyone’s attention. I am going to believe, that somewhere
along the line, there is, that one person, who will be our hero, who will be
strong enough, determined enough, to put a stop to all the companies who are
making their millions, in our community, at our expense. Even the mightiest
have fallen.
I wish you all a wonderful weekend.

NJ Statute is N.J.C.A.7:26-3.4 which designates which routes
are for waste hauling and which are not, the residential roads Rt. 631, Rt 610
and Rt. 50 are not for Waste Hauling Route, the penalties carry a $2,000 fine
per violation. Waste Management is using the loophole that since their yard is
located on a road opposite of the landfill, that they are not carrying
waste, they are going back to their yard, and since the law does not specified
not to use the roads for any reason they are sneaking into the dump with full
loads on the way to their yard. Yes our roads have become a short cut for
all trucks, to the landfill and sand mines, the officials, including the State Police,
who is our local law enforcment department, are not doing anything to stop them,
they do not want to interfere with the businesses who are making millions
even if it means allowing them to violate laws. Since they cannot
have two set of rules, they have opted for no rules. They have abolished all
rules pertaining to road traffic in our community. No limitations, to
weight, speed, material they carry, size of vehicle, nothing.
